12 noon Healing Eucharist Holy Eucharist
The Mass is our central act of worship, which includes readings from the Bible, a sermon, prayers for the life of the Church and the World, and Holy Communion. In the Mass, we give thanks for all of God's belssings in our lives, but chiefly for the saving death and resurrectioin of Jesus Christ. We celebrate communion at the altar, not of the Church, but of the Lord. It is made ready for those who love God and for those who want to love God more. So come, you who have much faith and you who have little; you who have been here often and you who have not been here long; you who have tried to follow and you who have failed. Come, because it is the Lord who invites you. It is God's will that those who want God should meet here. |

Prayers of the People
Each Sunday, the Eucharistic Minister leads us in the Prayers of the People. We lift up prayers for our national, community, and church leaders; for those suffering from illness and distraught, as well as our thanksgivings and blessings. To keep these prayers as a part of your weekly devotion, I invite you to follow this link to download the latest copy: St. Michael's Prayers of the People
If you would like someone added to the prayer list, please email the Parish Administrator. Unless the individual is a St. Michael's parishioner, battling cancer, or we hear otherwise, names will remain on the prayer list for three consecutive Sundays.
